Bryan McIver is a veteran political organizer and campaign strategist known for his deep roots in British Columbia’s New Democratic Party (NDP). Over five decades, he has managed and advised campaigns at both the local, provincial and federal levels, earning a reputation for his grassroots approach and his ability to connect with volunteers and voters alike. McIver’s career includes serving as campaign manager in key ridings—such as Shuswap, BC, and Windsor-Riverside, ON—and working with multiple constituencies during major initiatives, including the “Yes To Extinguish the HST” campaign. His colleagues recall him as a dedicated, thoughtful leader who brings both strategic insight and a personal touch to political work, often mentoring new activists and fostering strong community networks. Through his work, McIver has witnessed—and helped shape—historic political shifts in British Columbia, always guided by a belief in the power of ordinary people to effect change.
